I agree that my original theory would be very power heavy in his favor. Hopefully, there’s a finite number of times he has to be targeted to die.
I do want to be transparent that I don’t have any insider info on the Exodia thing. But it’s a theory that made sense to me with the write up flavor and the multiple failed kill attempts on Psycho. It’s also entirely possible that he has a finite number of kill attempts he can survive and the next one will do it.
Your math matches my math.
Why wait for Psycho? You're a good spreadsheeter. What does yours show?
I had a chance to do some spreadsheeting last night and read the posts from Day 5. I came to the same conclusion regarding two scum remaining. My sheet was showing that only Mazer, Val, or Llettuce could be those two and I was leaning against Llettuce since Matthiu seemed to be pushing to vote her D5.
My read of the event rules was that the bpv was only good during the event (not until the end of phase). Meaning that if you chose the BPV then you couldn’t get shot by someone that chose gun. @VoidKitten can you clarify?
Definitely not scum.
It was a calculated risk. I decided it was worth it to take a shot at Psycho since he said he would take multiple tries for town to take him out.
The past two day phases whoever has been in a neighbor chat with Nightingale appears to have an extra vote. Crackle said something earlier about being confident she was talking to a town person today. Between that and the double vote I’m guessing Crackle has today’s chat.
I got a little focused on how Squirtle could have acted but wanted to circle back to this because I feel it’s a really good point. Why waste a kill on a player that’s been vanillaed unless they were onto something?
Two characters acted on Rock N1. The Summoned Skull flavor reads like the vanilla action to me. Could the Emrakul action have been a 1 night delay of action? It would explain Squirtle acting after Rock had been vanillaed.
It is possible. I was on a scum team once that had an ability to permanently change how someone appeared to alignment checks. However, MTR did specifically state that his deets weren't from cop checking Cape.
I like that MTRs dees line up with your liver bone from last phase.
While I agree that Exodia is clearly some sort of SK/Vig, I don’t think it’s an inactivity vig. Val met the suggested min post count for the phase & voted.
I'm normally better than this. But when I try to reply to something the order of posts seem to get all jumbled. Which is extra frustrating when I'm already overwhelmed and struggling to get caught up on what feels like 5 thousand posts.
I don't know why I can't post like a normal person. And of course can't delete or edit anything. *sigh*
I "read" everything once and that's the best I'm going to get.
Maybe it feels familiar and cozy to your liver bone because caito isn't playing this game and cape is the closest name to his?
I agree with you here. While vote thief isn't an out of the norm scum action, it doesn't make sense for that stolen vote to show up so obviously in the counts for the thief (immediately outing them).
You will see that sometimes with the Rajah-style games too if there's a traitor role. The traitor will be color-coded to town until/unless they're revealed so you're not entirely off base there with the question.
bless you for pointing out the double vote. I was so confused as to what point was being made and my brain was just not processing. This does not bode well for how I'm going to do this game. *sigh*
