    That was not my intention.

    I could be wrong, but in my view, you were underselling yourself and taking suss personally.

    You might feel you are not to that level. I feel like you have pulled enough big wins over the years, that people will be reserved. You did bring me up on failing to read you correctly. I felt I was telling you why. Game aside, it would have felt wrong not to ignore you talking about me.

    After he man, I complimented you pulling the deprecation card to work me over. I felt bad there, and wouldnt get burned again. Been truthful there.

    I did consider you might be the purple or mystery yellow, but for most of the game that didn't feel right, because of your emotion. When people asked why i read you, i answered honestly. I don't predict you doing the "mazer is this and that" again. And that was not a serial killer or whatever response. Even with that, there was a day where I started to tinfoil frustrated 3rd party. Because you could pull it off.

    If most other people are in a fight, I would have been ok with seeing them become ingrained against the other, or just gotten annoyed. I obviously should have just stayed out of it.

    Obviously, my intention was not something that conveyed well in a randomly assigned mafia game. I thought I could break character and it would be good. It was not.

    So one more big misread for mazer.

    I thought you were good after day 1. I have long been on record on saying I don't like to see the frustrated, mad card on here.

    And as I said, it's not fair to get mad when people suss people early. I've had the last however many games as town and claws, 3pups, etc will ALWAYS vote me early. Me saying it can be frustrating is genuine. My comments to you day 1 were genuine.

    I never asked anyone to give me any read based on anything than gameplay. The post you quote is true. You played well that game, and made several self deprecating posts that genuinely made me not feel great about winning a vote. To the point of me posting hbk/flair gifs. I didn't understand that me mentioning that would trigger something. I did have to have real.explanation when people were asking me about you. And I responded to them in a true way. I did not intend for it to come across differently.

    Ive been pretty consistent in how I've discussed people playing the "real life" card to get votes. If frustration comes out happens, but making people feel down to win us not something I like.

    It's why I put down rock, even though he was town, two games ago.

    In playing I was saying things that were true, when asked or one time when things got heated. And that was an honest attempt at deescalation, as things had gotten personal between you and claws.

    I had no intent otherwise, and apologize if it was received differently .

    On a separate note, I went through every mtr post and bote, and laid it all out. Andv he best I get back is "my gut says" or "it seems too easy".

    They both have bad records. I just have some explanation for blind ninja. If future dies and is town, my legacy read is kill blind ninja tomorrow. If he's scum, look at tildey, and the rest of the counter train, obviously.

    Future, explanation wise, I'm stuck with either "he's doing too poor" or "not doing well enough?"

    In all honesty, I don't hate the list. I feel pretty good about my poe. But today might tell us something about dreyski too.

    And the flair for the dramatic is fun. I did talk people out of falling for the listo tinfoil on mtr, but things like that should never get in the way of a dramatic swan song.

    In fairness, I wasn't trying to say it was the same thing. It's more of the general change in reads. I saw earlier it seemed you were very open to my interpretation of mtr. And it did read ax him kind of focusing specifically on you vs. Claws.

    And it was interesting, because it's an argument I've never seen before. Maybe it's a curiosity. But it definitely stood out.

    I can definitely understand the blind ninja concern. He's next up for me. If I had a vig shot, one of them would already be dead, and we'd be scanning the other. It's more the absence of future concern that surprises .d.

    If I've misread and you are less defensive of future than I understood, maybe I misread. But I feel like there was a move away from him as a top poe recently.

    It reads as tmi. We've played dozens of games now, and I've never seen someone read order of operations read into a watcher target.

    Future came in with "we all failed" and had a specific interpretation.

    I'm also a little thrown off that tildey seemed amenable to my read that mtr had an agenda, but is now explaining future's post readings for him and hard defense.

    I'm also not sold thar we have a total of 4 out of 15 as non town. Foxxi is obsessive with planning. And while I can't rule out the possibility that it's right, it would be in contrast to all the discussions on game building, particularly if the 3rd party has a kill action.

    Basically, I feel like we're being irresponsible loose. Like void in Ghostbusters refusing to take the highest shot until I had to beg him as a stump.


    If future is dirty, it's not a good look for tildey. If he's clean, maybe the ratio is lower, and blind ninja is likely next up.

    I've never talked to.foxxi about it. But she and void talk. Role madness was typically assumed to be about a 30% non town ratio in our conversations.

    You could be right, but ive been defaulting to standard practices. Because I think to assume the most friendly ratio is to invite overconfidence.

    I usually don't give order as info. And I'm not 100 that it's how the write ups are working. But obviously the write ups as info.

    I went back through my thoughts.

    I can't think of a reason that future is not in the worst spot. His answer today, while plausible, came after today, we theorized strongman, etc. His original defense was that he had no defense and it branched out only after he was in thread.

    Blind ninja is also in my POE. His record is poor. The advantage over future is that he's either played his meta or explained before (the mtr vote he was good with mtr, but advised waiting to finish quests). That could be all fluff, but that and mtr's blatant pattern are his advantage over future.

    I read you town, and currently think you were probably trying to help.

    Well, he did vote for every town lynch, not vote for mtr's lynch (even though he loves voting mtr), was one of the people you saw visiting listo, etc.

    Those were a few somethings I guess.

    Tildey is POE. Definitely. I wouldn't do a random random train to be "spicy".

    If there's better probability arguments out there, there might be something I've missed, because at this point I think we need the shot that checks the most boxes.

    I'm reading this as you saying the drawback on future is that tildey (who you think is scum) thinks his town tells have gotten better?

    I would have been closer on this, but claws saw Future as one of the people who visited Listo last night. And we definitely know who mtr was.


    Admittedly, I read through all mtr's posts, and because of that I'm also reading heavy on his biggest pattern.

    I agree that we need to be careful. We need to make a good decision.

    You and I feel most confident on Future (it's interesting that nobody has even tried to counter the points I've made there), and given the combination of night action and mtr, to me that does feel the most likely. I do think we need to get people on record on what it is the best choice.

    I don't hate the Tildey vote. The logic is sound and I feel good that mtr had an agenda yesterday. And Xan is at least in my middle, and Badger seems good.

    I think two trains make sense to gauge reactions. Because Tildey and Future are both in my POE I'm ok with this to start. If claws is right (and there seems at least an ok chance he is), then the kill today is probably pretty important.


    I did not want to ramrod future, but I've given him time. He was mtr's most defended person the entire run, and he is on two bad trains and avoided a vote on mtr (way out of character). He has my highest probability.

    I think that there's only a small chance that mtr's references were not part of his pattern. I think there's at least one scum between future and Tildey.

    Some thoughts:
    • Mtr was actually defending until listo called dees.
    • He went directly at people we either think or know are town. He was most aggressive on claws. Claws should be pretty much town locked at this point. Claws has also been targeted for cheap lynches before.
    • I think the above backs up my theory that he was stalling to discuss tactics.
    • He was defending the House very consistently. Some intermediate for Tildey. Very direct for Future.
    • You can see the point he gives up.

    I thought it would be interesting to see who had 2 bad votes. It seems at least a possibility that there is at least one scum in there.

    Future is in a very unique position of starting the Val train (as he ever started a train that wasn't mtr?), and a late hammer on the morri train.

    Insaner is in an early position on both trains.

    Badger is hanging out in the middle. It could be seen as around the tipping point to get Val over, I guess. Again, meta read town.

    Blind Ninja is early morri (which in fairness is pretty much his day 1 default), and in a momentum building moment on Val.

    Tildey came in near the middle of Morri. I read as her as having good questions. She's smart though. I don't know how much the Val lynch was in doubt by the time she voted, with two no-voters and me still having not voted at that point.



    I'm a little worried that I want to town read future, because I felt bad for him being trapped in the Shark cage last game. But it's folly to ignore the tangible events. @MTR and @Tildey, what are your current future reads?

    Yesterday I did not love several votes. And now we have a food data point. On the 6 who voted for mtr, we have listo, 2 I feel good about, me, then Tildey and Insaner.

    Dreyski's vote may be dependent on Tildey.

    I don't love anyone who was holding off. BN did say that he was willing to vote, but held off for the quests, I guess? And then Insaner closed? I still don't love it. There is a pattern here though.

    There's a distinct pattern there where Future has been on EVERY bad vote, voted for mtr when it meant nothing, and then did not vote during the initial push or even after the dees came out. This almost strikes me as oversimple, but damn there's a distinct thread through mtr's posts and future's votes.



    I would love to get everyone's reads on this, and for Future to have a chance to check in on yesterday.

    Again, mtr did a lot of stall posts for someone who "did not have time". Which leads me to believe that there was probably a decent amount of scum chat coordination going on.

    Looking back - The first 3 on him were listo, claws, and badger. So if we're right about claws and Badger, this means he was throwing shade at 3 townies.

Badger has seemed to have some opportunistic voting at times during these early phases. So not ready to vote one person of this train yet plus you guys would just call it OMGUS anyway. But if I get yeeted today look at these early votes.

    I am still kind of neutral on others until I can read and try to put more thoughts together.

    Probably a lot of people are going to come in after the fact and claim that they always were on mtr, and that this was inevitable. I'm not 100 convinced that's actually everyone's reality.

    I'm not gonna lie, I was at least curious whether this was an easy lynch target, as mtr has been targeted there before. That Badger and Claws were on it did make me feel ok to see. Things were stagnant at that point, and as I go back and read, there was at least discussion around others. Hell, voting records was making me re-evaluate Future (honestly, evaluation still ongoing).


    But I'm by no means sure that it would have gone off otherwise. Folks round these parts will tell you that one of my cardinal rules is "when you can kill red, always make sure you get the kill". You never know what happens at night, etc, and I also would not have wanted to end the day with anything less than a kill, if I know I've got one in sights. I honestly think it's a selfish virms type play in a game like this to risk not getting it.

    Still do not buy the Listo wolf theory.

    I thought it would be interesting to see who had 2 bad votes. It seems at least a possibility that there is at least one scum in there.

    Future is in a very unique position of starting the Val train (as he ever started a train that wasn't mtr?), and a late hammer on the morri train.

    Insaner is in an early position on both trains.

    Badger is hanging out in the middle. It could be seen as around the tipping point to get Val over, I guess. Again, meta read town.

    Blind Ninja is early morri (which in fairness is pretty much his day 1 default), and in a momentum building moment on Val.

    Tildey came in near the middle of Morri. I read as her as having good questions. She's smart though. I don't know how much the Val lynch was in doubt by the time she voted, with two no-voters and me still having not voted at that point.



    I'm a little worried that I want to town read future, because I felt bad for him being trapped in the Shark cage last game. But it's folly to ignore the tangible events. @MTR and @Tildey, what are your current future reads?

    People can pretty much tell a story for any action. I don't think what you're saying in unreasonable, or something that I'm scum reading. Because with zero righteous kills, it's a helluva thing to want a hard clear just based on possibly letting someone die later rather than before.

    Is it all clear? We've definitely seen bussing of the own team happen a lot lately. That and the "I MADE A DERP. CLEAR ME! ONLY US TOWN WOULD MAKE DERPS!" are two pretty common plays right now.
