    Badger’s Log: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

    Okay so just about to cross the swamp (but will go back and do Kalm side quests first, clear those towers for Chadley) but will create two save files. One (if the story allows and is an option) because I want to see how badly this Midgar Zolom will kick my ass if I did NOT cross on Chocobo..it’s probably going to be brutallll but still curious! 😂😂😂

    The second file of course for when I cross the swamp on chocobo and play properly. 👍

    After he man, I complimented. I didn't complain that you compared yourself to md negatively. I felt bad there. And I've always been truthful. I did consider you might be the purple or mystery yellow, but for most of the game that didn't feel right, because of your emotion. When people asked why i read you, i answered honestly. I don't predict you doing the "mazer is this and that" again. And that was not a serial killer or whatever response. Even with that, there was a day where I started to tinfoil frustrated 3rd party. Because you could pull it off.

    If most other people are in a fight, I would have been ok with seeing them become ingrained against the other, or just gotten annoyed. I obviously should have just stayed out of it.

    Obviously, my intention was not something that conveyed well in a randomly assigned mafia game. I thought I could break character and it would be good. It was not.

    It may have not been your intention and know we’re all big boys and this is just an internet game but just so you realise the whole “I’m not gonna forgeeet” thing when already reminded about my shit felt manipulative when you should have had an idea I was really anxious.

    Look mate I won’t “Badger” you over this and miscommunication can happen but it felt (possibly not your intention) knowing the tone of my posts over that period of time especially over Xmas time if you know your history was bad timing.

    This is why I wonder sometimes if you can really read me.

    I know I’m my own worst enemy and wouldn’t have even minded the Teela reference but surely you out of everyone even knowing me knowing how emotional was getting reminding me all of the madterstokes but the “I’m not gonna let you forget it if you flip scum” really irked me….

    But at the same time I know I’m not the smartest or eloquent bloke…but still feel a bit like I’m being singled out for masterstrokes when we’ve all done masterstrokes in our time. I know I do that shit, but just feels like A. You know that and B. Winding me up because your speech actually had me in tears til that “Am I lying Badger?” shit. And here you are fucking scum!

    So yes game is game but just felt you were getting a whole emotional rise out of me bringing all that up writing that up just to get a rise out of me.

    Yeah I know and why was that my fault anyway? Claws said I was taking the piss out of Matthieu like I was a bully to him when Matthieu was using ME as his blustery take out leaving the site because I didn’t flip scum.

    @Mazer ….you know I’m an emotional bloke more than most…but you giving me that whole emotional speech about getting back into the game, even selling me on the fact that you would not let me forgetting it…but you know my anxiety so maybe you did or didn’t know but that whole speech when I was struggling not you letting me forget if I flipped scum….just felt like you taking the piss out of me ya dig? Point is…you knew/know I am struggling and you planting the seed in not letting me not forget me being scum knowing how emotional I was getting and reminding me about those “masterstokes”…then look what happens…Badger got gamed for believing you might be town and can’t focus on your play because…you fucking put the guilt-trip on me. Dirtyyy playyy!!!So here is an idea why I may not be entirely pleased…good day sir.

You played well that game, and made several self deprecating posts that genuinely made me not feel great about winning a vote. To the point of me posting hbk/flair gifs. I didn't understand that me mentioning that would trigger something. I did have to have real.explanation when people were asking me about you. And I responded to them in a true way. I did not intend for it to come across differently.

    Ive been pretty consistent in how I've discussed people playing the "real life" card to get votes. If frustration comes out happens, but making people feel down to win us not something I like.

    It's why I put down rock, even though he was town, two games ago.

    In playing I was saying things that were true, when asked or one time when things got heated. And that was an honest attempt at deescalation, as things had gotten personal between you and claws.

    I had no intent otherwise, and apologize if it was received differently .

    But as much as you said I might have been scum and the speech you gave me when I was pissed about being pre-judged…Badger will not forget this!
