    • Well clearly void lied about being 3p and isn't as smart as I thought he was because what a silly claim to make? Like... seriously? Why claim the one role that someone else can definitively call you out as a liar? And even if they don't call you out, if that role ever dies you're outted? And sure it bought him some time... but to what purpose? He hasn't bothered to participate so?
     
    Damn, I called it while only paying half attention. Guess I have some latent ability. Also why is it that the Monday night that I forget I have to work also be the busiest Monday night I have in a while, why couldn’t it be like the other Mondays just so I could check in on the game
     
    So now Im wondering if no kill last night was because of a doc protect, or last mafia has been MIA. If the later, we have VK, Matt (tinfoil) who havent participated ion several days

    I'd have thought that it was a missing action if it weren't for Hand saying there was an action submitted. So it was either a doc protect or a choice to holster I expect. Void I can see holstering. Barring shenanigans Val claims Void is mafia, and with claws flipping the 3p it seems probable that's legit info.

    Fringe tinfoil world where matt is the wolf... but it's like... he'd have to have an ability to frame someone, and choose Void, who Val also happened to pick... and eh. Would make more sense to try to frame like future or Val or someone that people didn't already know isn't town because most cops wouldn't bother to check the admitted non-town to see if they are not town XD

    I didn't want to deprive you all of one more long-ass post, while probably nobody's going to read it anyway. Somehow, I feel that Handium will be revoking the after-game-death posting privilege for me if he ever decides to host another game.

    If it's not too late, let me tell you all about this weekend's couponing haul.

    60 packages Tide Pods (12-16 count) laundy detergent
    80 bottles (28 oz Tressemme Shampoo/Conditioner
    64 3-pack Irish Spring bar soap
    43 six-pack Nature Valley bars
    72 Colgate Toothpaste
    15 toothbrushes (2pk)
    40 Elvive shampoo/conditioner
    18 Garnier Shampoo/conditioner
    30 Suave shampoo/conditioner
    24 feminine care pads/liners
    36 Nivea Body Wash
    18 Nivea lotion
    28 Eucerin lotion
    24 Aquaphor lip care (2pk)
    2 books forever postage stamps
    9 bags candy
    2 dozen eggs
    6 pints Ben & Jerry's
    2 frozen pizzas
    54 boxes Kelloggs cereal
    12 pairs winter gloves
    8 winter hats

    Some other stuff I have probably forgotten, but will make a small difference at the various shelters/food pantries.

    Net cost was under $14 on gift cards, but I did burn through quite a pile of "no expiration date" coupons

    One of my favorite cashiers is leaving the country, he is moving to South America. I am happy for him as his home life hasn't been great since his mom passed, so he's getting a fresh start and he will be using his degree. I have known him for probably 5 or six years, we've talked about my donations, etc. I am sure I am a memorable customer, as there aren't many people who regularly get cartloads of stuff for basically nothing. I know there are a few, but most of the other couponers end up re-selling their stuff online or at flea markets, etc. I've shared with him the stories of the women at the shelter who are so very appreciative of the personal care items I bring them each month. Anyway, since he is leaving, he asked me for a hug before he left, and I was happy to give him one. I told him I was certain he will do well wherever he goes, and it would be an honor to catch up with him again if he returns for a holiday season.

    One thing I like to do is to randomly give away extra coupons to other shoppers. I had a few $5 off a $20 purchase coupons, and folks are delighted to save a few boxes. I usually tell them I won't use them, and it's a nice thing to be kind to someone, because I am sure they've done something nice for someone so they deserve it. I gave one of these to a woman buying a few things, including a package of Reese's PB Easter Eggs. I happened to notice that and told her those were buy one, get a second for only a dollar. So she said sure, she'd take a second, and I gave her another coupon. I had saved her ten bucks.

    After her transaction, she asked me if I had grandkids, and would I like the second package. While I told her no, I don't have grandkids, but I donate all this stuff to the women's shelter and they'd be delighted to get candy. It was certainly unexpected, and very nice of her to do that, but part of me wondered exactly how old do I look now? She said grandkids, not kids. I was honestly a bit startled. I guess I have a bit more grey in the beard than I used to.

    Then I got home to read an email from my younger brother, who became a grandfather yesterday He sent a picture, and damn, he looks old. So I am not just an uncle, I AM GREAT!

    I have to take it slower when it comes to unloading my van after all the shopping. I've been getting extremely winded / unable to keep going with any modest physical activity lately. After a few dozen trips up and down the basement stairs carrying all that stuff, I have to take a break. When this happens at 11 PM at night, it is rough, because I need to get some stuff in the fridge/freezer etc. But I made it through, and I have an appointment with the cardiologist on Thursday. Please send kind thoughts my way as I am getting nervous about the whole thing.

    im just saying that the setup is what the game started as, and it may or may not have changed. There has been things I've said that were never true in the game with "may or may not"

    My guess would be Void from 3p to mafia given his original claim and comments about the setup being a lie, and then val's claim yesterday.

    The bigger pictures is if Void turned mafia, then we're still missing one of the original 3.

    It wasn't claws - so my next in line is future... who somehow knew claws was full of shit and not actually mafia. In hindsight that feels a lot like trying to avoid what he thought would be a bad vote - or not wanting to appear too eager for it.

    I get the impression that's why Void said Hand lied about the game makeup. The only reason someone would feel the game makeup was a lie, would be if their pov told them something didn't fit.

    If he began as 3p and then saw claws flip 3p - that would make the game makeup a lie to him
     
    It also makes a hell of a lot more sense to me than a mafia Void claiming 3p -- because that just doesn't strike me as something Void would think is a good idea =\
     
    Nor would a mafia Void have any reason to think there was something wrong with the game makeup.... like why would he even pop in and say Hand lied about the makeup?

    I could see a world where he thinks it might convince us he is actually a second 3p so we leave him alone maybe? And maybe is paying so little attention he doesn't know Val said he is mafia?

    But again. That would mean a w!Void claimed 3p and.... eh. I seriously doubt he was like "oh no, I have sus. Better claim 3p!"
     
    I thought for a sec that scum changed Claws from town to jester on n2 because there was no kill. But Claws gameplay seemed consistent whole game and felt genuinely pissed that he put so much effort and it was in vain.
     
    he claimed to be 3p. There is no reason he would claim that as town unless *he* was a jester. And I seriously doubt the game has two jesters

    Look, it's not in this game's rules, but our traditional mafia rules forbade us from getting into the nitty gritty quoting of mod posts and screenshotting and "he said she said" stuff. I am just telling you what I know. I have just been told that Void is actually town.

    Void *himself* said he isn't town. So no.
     
    And as for two jesters.... I just find that extremely unlikely in a 13 player game. We have different kinds of investigative roles, as town usually does. But jester is a negative role against town. You don't put two in a game this small.
     
    I dont get explanations how roles work. Guess enabled is a broad term for some hidden/unique stuff. Psycho had it but VK cant have same one anyways because that one had character names.
