Mod MVP goes to Claws. He performed perfectly as a minion. A minion's job is to make sure the Demon doesn't get eliminated, and an element of that is drawing enough attention/suspicion that it distracts town from where they should be looking.

Honorary mention goes to Pups, if it had been thought on more about his observations about chats, I think town would have had this. If that had been combined with Grumpy knowing claws was very unlikely to be the demon - (Not impossible mind you, grumpy could have been poisoned two nights in a row, it happens. Especially if a poisoner catches on to someone being an info gathering role) - and NQM's info of one pair... it would have become fairly clear that one of listo/matt had to be the Demon.

This was rigged. As the spy, Claws had all the info from the get go, and was able to share it all with his team. And he gets MVP? :banghead:

As townie, I put too much importance on trying NOT to share the info I had obtained / deduced, because I didn't want to make it obvious who should be targeted. Scum knew it already.

All frustrations aside, I just realized I haven't properly thanked Foxxi for this game, as well as my fellow players. With some of the stress I have going on in my life at the moment, this was very much a needed, and appreciated distraction.

Thats how spy works btw you guys had the easyist town rand to win according to listo so we were exspecting to lose but no1 had any balls early on to make things happen its a game of risks that town have to take you guys were smart early gathering roles but you guys should of also been excuting ppl you thought could be lying or why have that role when we have this one ect

I thought it was supposed to be designed around 12 players but with only 11 town outright started with a handicap.
Lets meet in the middle and say it was balanced ;p

I thought this initally too - but realized that nope. It scales with player count. The online tool I found gives the break down for number of players and how many of each type there should be. This was the game's intended setup for 11 players

This is generally speaking the correct thing to do. One of the tell tale signs of a spy existing is when players die off in an optimal or near optimal pattern, the info gathering roles, the monk... roles like the soldier or the ravenkeeper being avoided - even if they've actively tried to be targets.

It's hard to see that pattern though if all the roles and info it out on the table for everyone because then there's nothing that points at spy.

And it is important to try to figure out what minions are in play, because that will tell you things too. For example, if the baron has been in play here and you'd been able to discern that because of too many outsiders - plus see the pattern of deaths seeming to be too informed -- you'd then know there probably wasn't a poisoner, and that would mean info outside of a potential drunk was probably trustworthy, etc

Seriously I didn't know spy knows any of that ;p Makes more sense with MTR death now. it was so off.

Yup, spy gets anything that is notated on the grimoire. They do not however get any info given that doesn't get notated onto that sheet. So for instance, Claws knew CWE was the drunk, but did not know what role I told CWE he was - since that isn't put there. If BN had someone other than claws, say you and NQM - Claws would know you and NQM were his two targets, but would not know if I'd told him "empath" or "chef"
