Again, their intent is make the encounters to where DBM and specifically WAs arent needed to be successful. So they will, or should be, dumbing the encounters down a good deal. I have little faith in their initial balancing of fights without, so 1st tier or 2 may be fucked... but we will see.

You can safely tell your secrets to 3pups. You don't need to trust me but as long as you trust him everything will be just fine.
 
Sorry was a super busy day today, Ill make sure I dedicate more time to game when I wake up tomorrow. A lot of the chat looks to still be mech which Im garbage on anyway.

But we should probably just kill Claws, he plays WoW and that combined with being Canadian sounds like a really good reason
 
It was a rather hectic day for Xanjori, yesterday - he'll make sure to dedicate more time to the game upon awakening. He thinks he's trash at mechanical discussion of the game.

Murderous tendencies have emerged, aimed at Claws. For the alleged crime of playing World of Warcraft and originating from Canada; something he believes to be a worthwhile reason.
 
Thx for clarifying. This story was getting so complicated I was losing track of the plot.

Why does Claws suck at wow so hard? Can you explain to. Thats hard to follow.

Probably hasn't found his niche yet. Whatever class/spec suits his play-style best.

I'd honestly recommend finding a raid team that doesn't obsess over numbers and just focuses on having a good time whilst taking things seriously enough to meet success. I'm guessing he plays on the American servers, or else I'd offer to bring him along with my group sometime on the European side of things.

    • As an aside, MTR is first on the list of players. Might just be a coincidence but if someone were lazy or unsure of a target, that might have played a factor - just picking the first name on the list and hoping for the best.

    Oof... we've been doing the last 4 on heroic, then mythic prog.

    last week was 2hrs of wipes on Plexus Sentinel

    This week was about 1.5hrs on Plexus, til we said fuck it and swapped to 5 healing (vice 4 healing) and downed it in a couple pulls, then 30-45min on Soulbinder Naazindri, again started with 4 healers, but swapped to 5 for the last 3 pulls of the night and down it with 5min or so left in our night

    So... have you had time to look into claims, take stock of any conversations you had in private, and looked at roles enough to where you have things to say/add to the game? You seemed more interested in Claws and his WoW progression (or lack thereof) D1 then you did with this game itself.

    Not sure I follow your math.

    The Demon knows who is not on their side. They also knew that MTR claimed to be among the nearly 1/2 of the town roles that do not get info that could be shared after N1, and they knew three town roles that were safe that may have been able to claim for themselves and/or share with their minions. So they may have had decent odds in picking MTR. But, they may have targeted someone else and MTR was hit instead.

    I nearly blew up yesterday on the raid team we kept getting 3% pulls and dieing to dumb shit

    I missed Matt as 4th option but I have at least some reason as to why others are less likely to be an evil.

    We're on 2/8 Mythic. We've got Heroic on farm but only some of our raid team want to do Mythic, so we have to rely on random players to help boost our numbers. Most of which end up leaving after a single wipe. It's annoying.

    When it comes to the NRB videos, someone just says “I nominate X” and that person is out on trial given a chance to defend and then everyone votes yes or no to lynch. Repeat until day ends or used up all chances.

    It would seem that someone like me, or Blind Ninja would have the least to lose, because we've claimed our roles, and have no further info that we will learn. There's a risk that we nominate the Virgin, but other than that, I think we should start to compile useful information re: vote history, which may be important later.

    Nevermind, now. I don't think any other nominations can be taken now. And since you're alive, I guess either Psycho is not the virgin, or you're evil.
     
    Psycho is now on trial. Any votes cast must be either Yea or Nay. Ten living players requires 6 votes to execute. Trial ends 2am est.
     
    I would like to chat with Claws, please. Since Claws had a private chat with Psycho yesterday, I would like to find out if Psycho gave any plausible defense.
     
    Hey @MTR , do you think Psycho would have taken you out first? I don't want you to waste your final vote, but I'll go along with your gut feeling.

    I do believe what MTR told me, especially because he was either targeted and killed, or he was killed because of something else.

    Based on the setup, and the information given me, I think we are dealing with only one outsider, the Drunk.

    Im aware chats went away.

    Since that promise to not disclose was yesterday, before his death, im sure his stance on sharing/revealing his role would be different.

    Without breaking that trust you had with him, did he provide you with anything that could help town? Could be his role, opinions on players, trust list (even d1), or info gleamed from his role

    Unless my role was not poisoned, or I am actually the drunk and was given misinformation, then based on the information I shared about my role as Librarian, there's a 50% chance that either you or CWE is the drunk.

    The info could conceivably help town, but I am afraid of sharing too much again as I may have already hurt town.

    The Demon and the minions do not have a scum chat, but they know who they are. Only the demon knows the 3 safe roles they can claim. So the minions would want to know what they could claim.

    Claws seemed plausibly clean to me based on information shared. I don't think CWE is a threat to town at all, and I feel good about Xanjori based on the chance he's likely to be the drunk.

    Both BN and Grumpy shared info with me, and I recall one of you had a chat with Claws. And Claws had a chat with Psycho.

    So Claws, did Pyscho share anything that may be useful to town?

    Does that mean there is a 50% chance neither of us are the drunk? Thus meaning each of the 3 of us has a 16.6% chance to be the drunk?

    There is probably a less than 1 in 10 chance that I was poisoned. This would require that not only a poisoner exists in this game, and that the poisoner picked me instead of any of the other 9 players (11 less me and them). For now, I really doubt there's a Baron, because there's been no other outsider claims. So the only outsider we have evidence of is the drunk. The setup says there are 2 minions, so without a Baron, that means minions are 2 of Scarlet Woman, Poisoner, and Spy. Since nobody will be claiming any of these, so we don't know unless someone finds something out, and they share it.

    I know the info I was given, and I shared it. Most likely possibility is that I am who I was told I am, and that either you or CWE is the drunk

    Did you tell Psycho your role? Based on what Listo told me in chat, you were not willing to share your role with Listo, so why did Psycho share his role with you unless you shared with him?

    I think it is likely that since the demon and minions do not have a private chat, but know who they are teamed with, they wanted to communicate the safe roles that they can claim.

    Psycho is a very good player. From what I recall, he can overlook the early game only to show up a bit later and lock in. So I am hoping for that.

    If I were going to vote on the basis of being quiet, I'd be a hypocrite as I am finding my own feet again after some time away...but in addition to that, there's other players who fit that category.

    So, eh...

    I thought that the drunk is not necessarily given false information, other than what their role might be. The information given to the drunk will be consistent with the role they think they have, but it may or may not be true. So not sure how we could test for sure, depending what you can share.

    I have a reasonable idea as to what role you think you might have. I'd like to chat in private with you, Xanjori, to "confirm" if you are what I think you've maybe hinted at. I may be way off.

    I would also like to chat with Matthieu, the only remaining person I don't have a town role for - there are a few options, as there are 15 town roles and only 11 players

    After that, the challenge is to figure out if I have the roles I guessed right, and then, figure out who is lying.
