Handium had to vote for me or Psycho (dunno if self votes were allowed) to give a shield to since we are on the list. So you'd be asking the same thing if i were killed and psycho alive I think

The real question: Why did they choose those 3 on the list?

Because Handium was scum, and you and Psycho are powerful town players
 
I guess one of my big things is just reading MTR when he came in today. Two posts stood out.

1. He confirmed Future actually came home immediately and said something to him. Called him a traitor. Idk if scum future does that instantly when he gets home
2. He hated my vote but loved my post praising Future. It kinda came across like a proud papa which for some reason made me feel MTR is the traitor and proud of Future for being so towny.

What would happen is I'd auto-vote Psycho. Then he'd talk me out of it. Then I'd vote him again. Then he'd talk me out of THAT vote. And the dance would continue.

I wouldn't read into me saying he called me a traitor too much. We have been doing that the whole game. That is like every game. :lol:

No, its not that. It confirmed Future followed up with you. Precisely like he said he was going to.

It made me feel warm and fuzzy about Future reading confirmations.
 
Oh maybe Future didn't realize the shield vote was only for me, Handium, and Psycho. So he is explaining why Handium would give the shield to a strong town player to look town?

How, I don't know, since its been brought up a few times.

MTR has been banished. He was a traitor.

Four players remain. Each player should send me a private message. This should tell me if they wish to banish again or if they believe all 4 remaining players are faithful. If even 1 person wants to vote all someone out, all parties will vote someone out. Remember, if even 1 traitor makes it to the end they win.

The players have gathered and it is time to reveal their votes. If even one person votes to banish again then we will have another round of voting. If all players vote to end the game and there is at least one traitor left then all remaining traitors will win the game. If there are no remaining traitors then the living faithful win.

Up first is Val the Mafia Boss. Val votes to end the game.

Next is FutureHold. FutureHold votes to end the game.

Third is CWE. CWE has also voted to end the game.

Finally we have VoidKitten. Void has voted to banish again.

This means we will have another banishment vote. I will open the thread for discussion for a maximum of 24 hours but all living players must PM me their vote for the next banishment. No voting in the thread. Once I have received all four votes I will cut off discussion and reveal the votes.

Pure unadulterated paranoia. I spent most of the time after MTR's flip trying to figure out how many starting traitors there could have been. Why? Because I decided to delve into the source material and read that EVERY game always started with 3 traitors. Now mind you this is with 20 people so its not exact. But that made me start thinking if it were possible.

I do not believe that it is possible that it started with 3 people based on my mathing and Handium confirming things (i'll throw my notes i wrote earlier below). However, one thing I could not find was if during this "On Trial" phase, if the traitors went down to 1, could they then recruit too. in the source material as soon as they get to one, it is a forced recruit from what i can tell. This is done bc the TV show wants to make it dramatic.

I have absolutely no idea how Mitch did this mechanic. All I know is that on N2 and N3 there were no kills. My paranoia/tinfoil is that since the trial was N3s "action" that N4 allowed them to recruit (since at 1 and its usually forced) in addition to the kill. I may be 100% fucking wrong on this, but I had to consider it because I kinda actually wanna win this game more than I originally thought when it started :D

So, that led me to wonder who may have been recruited, if anyone. I am sure CWE is town because I see no world where he talks about tinfoiling if he were scum. It seems like he'd be faking things there and lying. Future I am pretty sure isn't recruited due to how he played the prior day and how MTR posted. If Future is scum, kudos.

That leaves Val, who I derp cleared and Future cleared for the same reasons he cleared Handium. But Handium turned out to be a traitor. If anyone was recruited, it has to be Val imo. I cannot say with certainty Val is town or not.

So, I ended up choosing the selfish route. I trust CWE and Future but I want to yeet Val to ensure no traitor could have been recruited. So either I am going to be a genius and found a hidden scum or I am attempting to cost town Val a win for no fucking reason.

I went back and forth but ultimately decided I wanted to banish. This may blow up in my face and if you guys think Val is town and I'm a moron feel free to yeet me instead and cost me my win. You clearly know im not a traitor or I'd have voted to end the game since I expected all three of you to as most of our discussion was that MTR was final. And it is logical and probably true. But I couldn't take the chance :D

So, that is who I am going to vote for.

Sorry Val if you are faithful and i'm a fucking asshole here but I couldn't shake the paranoia.

Notes:

Handium claimed to have shield on N2. No reason there would be no kill outside of a recruit. So assuming 2 starting traitors

D1 - 2 traitors (Claws yeeted)
N2 - 2 traitors (GC killed)
D2 - 1 traitor (Matthieu yeeted)
N2 - Presumed recruit (Handium recruit MTR) - I assumed a shield hit, but handium actually claimed it
D3 - 2 traitors (Listo yeeted)
N3 - On Trial shenanigans (no recruit should be possible due to 2 traitors alive)
D4 - 1 traitor (Handium yeeted)
N4 - The kill from On Trial on Psycho (BUT did they get to recruit here too since i can see this argued as N3s action allowing traitor to recruit. Its tinfoil, but possible)
D5 - 0/1 traitors (MTR yeeted)

The only player I townlean is MTR. So that leaves Void, Future, and CWE as my potential voting options.

Hm... if the rules are that town players can't win while dead, then it might be best to try to adjourn the game here in the hope that there are four winners. If we continue lynching then there might only be 1 or 2 winners left, even if scum lost that would still effectively be a loss for almost all town players. Mind as well chance it.

Future...might love me enough still. We go way back and are bffls. But I'm pretty sure we have broken up like six times at this point so I'm unsure which way he will go :D
 
I am so baffled and confused at that MTR townlean. That has to be the funniest shit I’ve read in a mafia game. But this is so Val so I can’t say Val is scum because of it.

Either way. If Future backs me it goes to a rand because i don't see CWE rewarding my paranoia and would rather bonk me instead.

I wonder if I have a better chance with drunk or sober CWE? Or if they are united against me.

I also messaged mitch asking to unvote because I had tinfoil he was planning to vote you. Then decided to say fuck it and stick with CWE :D

At this point we’re just debating who doesn’t get to win and that’s a bad spot. I believe we are all town, and I was going to just vote Void for extending the day, and even more so after Val flipped, but now CWE is tinfoiling around and extending the day.

The reason I voted to eliminate instead of end the game is because either you both win...which you both deserve, or only one person can betray me. And it would be funny to take this all the way to final 2.

The 3 way vote for sudden death is even funnier tho.

So either vote me again and you two win or one of you call ot in the air and let fate decide who loses.

STOP MAKING ME FEEL BAD. I only voted you because I was SURE you were killing me for the lulz after Val and because you could.

I legit told mitch "in b4 he votes to banish" :D

Then i expected my death and was hoping future would vote you. THEN I was like "crap, from CWE PoV he knows I know he has to be town. Maybe he will vote future"

But then i decided future fucking deserves the win no matter what. So I couldn't change it.
