This is an old throwback riddle. The first three people to solve the riddle will be cured of the poison and receive my final serums. You may not ask for help to solve the riddle. Violina laughed yet again and disappeared.

Well, I'd reevaluate my read on Potter, but I saw some of the recent posts about him giving up on getting cured, so I guess it doesn't even matter now, he's about to die regardless.

Ya know, I actually clocked that "anti-serum" was the wrong word, and even had to correct myself when I accidentally typed "anti-venom" a couple of time. I probably shouldn't have assumed it was just a mistake by the moderator.

So that's what we've got left that's still poisoned, for real this time...probably. Even the silenced Cody Rhodes can get cured, because the riddle doesn't require posting in here. Makes sense, it wouldn't be fair to do otherwise . There's only one person on the list that I'd be content seeing die to it, but at least two of them are going to die. Big oof.

Obviously, we'll want to wait until either we get those cures out, or get close to the deadline so that the remainders at least have a chance to get it. I think most can agree that is not a set of 4 people we want to be tactical nuked out of the game. Five deaths in one day is a little extreme.

It’s BS that you’d just give the game over to someone that’s had barely any interaction or participation even when he wasn’t silenced. He’s had 23 posts the entire game. That’s it. You’re all ready to kill me claiming that it’s because I haven’t contributed enough in a way that suits you but you’re willing to turn the win over to a guy that the consensus is that he’s the SK and he has not even 30 posts. BS.

If you’re bored and you don’t want to play anymore the just bow out. Don’t insult the rest of town by saying you intend to champion the guy with 23 posts.

I don't see how that is an insult to town when I am talking about a scenario where town can't win anymore. I am not opposed to eliminating the SK if it's possible to eliminate him and win. But if after those poison shenanigans we wake up tomorrow with 5 or 6 people alive with two mafia and an SK left, or with 4 people alive with a mafia and an SK left, that's when I'll choose to give it to the SK. If mafia wants to prevent it, they can kill the SK themselves and convince me vote a townie over them to win. Town has already used up an action to pop Cody's vest so I think this is pretty fair.

The group came together, rattled by the events of the day and the ferocity with which Violina came at them today, finally came to a decision on who was the most suspicious of them all. The group descended upon Harry Dresden, who always tried to keep a level head. “I stand by my words that this is a mistake and a travesty of justice!” The group did not attack Harry Dresden, but inspired by his words, decided to let him leave the town freely, upon penalty of death if he were to return.

Harry Dresden tipped his hat to the crowd and turned around and strode out of the meeting room. As Harry Dresden walked down the stairs, he tripped and broke his neck as he fell perfectly upon the stairs.

Harry Dresden, playing as Morrison/Insaner, the Inactivity/Word Vig, has been eliminated and sent to Tribal Council.

VoidKitten was furiously typing away at his control panel. He was almost done hacking Violina’s world and was trying to take her out. VK’s control panel exploded, rendering his efforts futile. However, VoidKitten realized that he may have gotten something out of it…an ephemeral friend.

Rajah yawned and lazily went out of his house. He had a plan in mind and set up shop outside of Jade Cargill’s house and fired up a nice BBQ while he waited.

Listo didn’t feel like going out tonight, but he knew things had to be done anyway. He snuck into VoidKitten’s bedroom and stole his spare HoloFrame and quickly input some commands and sat back to watch.

Xanjori’s house may have exploded during one of the previous nights, but he was not going to give up his love for VR gaming. Xanjori found someone else’s house and sat down and hooked up his headset to get into the zone and really feel in touch with the powers that be.

Val the Moofia Boss wasted no time whatsoever. He grabbed his building supplies and quickly sought out Harry Potter and erected a makeshift fort, that Val decorated with the most lovely flowers and bones from the fall.

Crackleslap had an affinity for the necromatic arts and he channeled his thoughts deep and reached out into the beyond. What he found was a power thought lost. Crackleslap decided to use this new power on someone. Crackleslap located Cactus Jack and bonked him on the head. Cactus Jack didn’t know what hit him and when he looked around saw nothing. Cactus Jack stood up, unsure if he felt better or worse actually, but knew it would affect him in the morning.

Badger knew time was coming to an end and the battle would be decided soon so he sought out to turn the tide in their favor. Badger came across Jade Cargill and had a quick conversation to find out where Jade’s loyalties lie.

However, no sooner did Badger leave when Rajah came up behind him and slit his throat, giving Badger no time to react. Rajah smiled at the bloody corpse and went on his way, ready to do some more. In the distance, CWE was watching with his blade also drawn, but realized he was no longer needed here as the deed was done.

Badger was left bleeding out and once he did, Merlin was also conspicuously missing.

Merlin, playing as The Filthy, The Cop, has been killed and sent to Tribal Council.

Jade Cargill was lifted into the air, encapsulated in a glowing light and was then deposited back on the ground. She felt more vocal and as if her words had power.

Violina smiled sweetly again and departed.

Harry's flip sucks, but I didn't get any iffy vibes from Mankind last phase so was probably just a lose-lose situation.

Seth Rollins honestly looked the worst to me, but it also seems obvious. Harry Potter's hammer kinda raised my eyebrow even though otherwise they were pretty towny yesterday.

I still don't know why Sirius would open wolf claim in their position and be the one to call out Glinda after being resurrected.

But that just leaves Cody and Jade and that seems too easy if all of scum and the SK are in Cody, Jade, Rollins.

Violina grinned wildly. “Oh this is getting so exciting. I think I will spend some coins. I want someone else to have more of an opinion tonight in our vote.” Coins were heard clinking and someone in Tribal Council was empowered.

VoidKitten grinned at the battlefield and lazily pressed some buttons in his console. A giant beam of light connected with his target and knocked them backwards, making them forget what they were planning to do.

Listo was gleeful. He had a list that he carefully worked on and would now see it. If he were correct, this would be game changing, but if he was not…this could be an issue.

Rajah knew everything was coming to an end slowly, but surely and his plans so far have been working flawlessly. Rajah set up shop outside of Harry Potter’s house to see what would come of it.

Caito grabbed his handy tool belt and set off for Harry Potter’s house and set up a quick wall in front of the house. Caito admired his craftsmanship and then left as quickly as he had been there.

But on the way back, Caito ran across a shadowy figure standing in front of them. Caito assumed a fighting position, but the figure was much too strong and fast and quickly dodged around Caito’s attempt to fight and Caito ended up having his head fall from his body by the end of it.

As Rajah looked down to savor his kill, Seth Rollins went missing

The war was coming to its conclusions with The Corporation fighting to hang on in its battle against the overwhelming Kitten Kaboodle and the unexpected participant Rajah. The four remaining participants met for a battle royale during the night. Rajah decided to drop all pretense and go for a direct attack on Jade Cargill, knowing this was what needed to happen to end them all. As Jade Cargill fell to the ground, Listo quickly followed up in the moment where Rajah wasn’t looking to deliver his own blow. However, right before the blow connected, Listo was blown backwards as the spirit of Foxximcleod appeared. “Listo, I will not let you commit this act. Remember who you once were.” Listo scoffed and spat at the image of Foxxi, but decided not to pursue the attack.

Jade Cargill, playing as Val the Moofia Boss/Pablo Diablo, the Jailkeeper, has been killed.

When the dust settled, only three participants were left, with one clear outcome. Rajah was left surrounded by VoidKitten and Listo. Rajah looked between the two of them, knowing his fate was sealed and dropped his weapon. Listo and VoidKitten delivered a One & Done to Rajah killing him on the spot.

Cody Rhodes, playing as Rajah, the Mass Murderer, has been eliminated.

VoidKitten looked at Listo and they clasped hands in victory. “You really are much better suited to evil than they would make you out to be. You and I will be unstoppable.” Listo nodded and patted VoidKitten on the back as VoidKitten walked ahead of him. But Listo stopped and stared and VoidKitten as he walked. Listo thought to himself. “You mean I will be the one to be unstoppable. You are old news now. Now, it is time for the Listo Dynasty, but I have plans to make so I’ll be your best friend until then.”

This was a really cool setup. I think the Violina/Tribal Council aspect definitely added a sense of RNG that I can see people being upset about/not wanting every game, but I don't think it had a major influence on the outcome. Dresden/Mankind was definitely favorable for scum, but most of that is because Mankind built up so much goodwill with the player base that Dresden looked scummy in comparison. Decent chance I die that phase if not for that, but I also think Mankind/Harry Potter would have pulled it off past that point.

Still, great work, and the anon games are always a little extra fun since you don't immediately know who everyone is.

Thank you @VoidKitten for running this. I enjoyed the way you managed to keep the dead chat / Tribal Council engaged and still affecting the outcome, but really not much more of an impact than pure luck.

Curious on your thoughts on what you would have expected to play out differently when you were creating the various roles/gimmicks?

It went mostly as expected. The clues had to be hidden to ensure town couldn't coalesce as a team and give the best options. I expected maybe a bit more discussion of votes and figuring out what the clues could mean. Maybe some more hints from Violina, but I think she went for keeping identity a complete secret for the beginning and let it slip a bit more towards the end.

The Council works best in a no flip game, but no flip games are terrible and awful to play (meaning alignment, roles could flip). So people openly discuss without knowing someones true intentions. It becomes a completely separate thread. But for what it was, I think ti was good.

Making Cody the Kingmaker gave him a real shot at winning the game. The other events also either had the intended or more effect. Like the wishes could bring in a whole bunch of things. So Violina had a pretty large effect on the outcome I'd say.
