Normally I hold my votes like a fucking gremlin, and votes are low enough I feel like it's important to put my money where I feel it should be rather than waffling. Since it's d1 I'm not opposed to moving if someone gets closer *shrug*

You can still have discussion and lead the votes toward someone else. It doesnt have to be defend defend defend or doom and gloom for you.

A new expansion just launched and half of this community was formed from people who played and still play the game in question.

I stated it as a courtesy, as I am already in a completely different time zone to most players.

Mitch latched onto it as a dumb reason to push on me, I pushed back. It ended up dictating most of the day phase.

I think I have every right to be annoyed, since it isn't the only game recently where I have been yeeted on D1 for stupid reasons that have nothing to do with the game itself.

You are also doubling down on the defense instead of providing any other content to the game. Your 1 other suggestion was "Vote Llettuce, she has 0 posts"

Main raid cleared normal, then slapped the 1st 3 on heroic. Got some decent pulls in on the bat thing.

Alt raid with a friends guild, came in 6th boss... killed it, then wiped for 45 min on silken court. A couple more hours of that tonight im sure. If not, they likely wont kill queen this week

- It's currently 10PM.
- The day phase is due to end soon.
- Claiming unnecessarily does more harm than good and anyone who does claim makes themselves into a night target.

Yes, in no small part because it is D1 and there isn't a whole lot else that has happened of note. I legitimately think Mitch isn't to be trusted. I don't like how Psycho or Llettuce are reacting to the situation either. Psycho I'd expect more nuance from and Llettuce seems extremely opportunistic.

Your posts are fairly reasonable. Val and Claws are acting as I'd expect them to and I'm torn between viewing them as NAI and trustworthy.

LDG made a specific comment that makes me want to trust her for now. Assuming my hunch is correct.

I'm just going to be honest, I'm from an era where we used to have twenty to thirty players in these games and there was very much something called the 'gentleman's agreement' in play. A safety net of sorts to prevent grating situations like this occurring in the first place.

My enjoyment playing these games is already waning and I can't help but get the impression that some here simply do not like me and know they can exploit my habit of standing my ground and calling out bullshit as a convenient way to get me yeeted.

There simply isn't a valid reason to yeet me. I wasn't inactive. I simply stated I would be busy during a specific period of time due to raiding and being in a different time zone. It's not anymore complex than that.

Between the three of you? Mitch, which is largely why I haven't moved my vote. Could I have handled things better? Probably. Though I did make a genuine effort to elaborate on my situation and Mitch chose to double down, which I find suspicious.

She has straight up said or hinted at her characters in the past. I can think or 2-3 situations
 
I'm willing to give Matthieu a pass today provided he does more than defend himself the next phase. Because my biggest concern is that he didn't start reading other people until pressured to do so at the end of the phase. I don't really buy the claim as Matthieu would do that regardless of whether it's true or not.

But if Matthieu doesn't go down we're almost certainly getting a no lynch

We spent like... 2.5hrs total on Court I think? We almost got queen to last phase within 30mins, she's easily dying tonight.

I intend to contribute more, certainly, especially once we have something tangible to work with. I'd at least like to soak a night kill (which is more likely than not with unblockable kills floating around) rather than being unceremoniously yeeted on D1.

    The group gathered and discussed things as a whole, mostly wondering how they got there and what the heck was really going on. Throughout the discussion, alliances were formed and accusations levied. However, the group could not come to a consensus on which of them should be cast out and obliterated. With daylight fast fading, knowing full well the night brings terrors, the group split up to find a safe haven for the evening.

    There has been no elimination.

    Poisoner/Tavern Keeper
    Trickster Magic Mirror

    Necromancer/Retributionist

    Bucket D*:

    All other roles that are not investigative or killing
    Killing Actions
    Investigative Actions (investigative roles can see what happened in prior buckets)

    *Actions happen simultaneously within their groups unless a conflict arises. If a conflict arises, action will be randomized on which goes first. If Doomsayer wins with their kill and action goes, off they get priority for Invincible Defense before all other kills process.

    The darkness came quickly, eerily so, as many of the group were still heading to any ruins they could find shelter in for the evening. Throughout the night, strange noises were heard and what sounded like screams maybe? It was hard to tell. Despite that, Bilbo Baggins lamented the loss of the Shire. Bilbo knelt down and wept quietly at what was now lost. He heard a noise around him and saw someone. Bilbo had learned some magic from his time with the elves and said some words that caused the air to shimmer. Bilbo watched as the someone disappeared behind some ruins and turned his attention back to the home he wished he could have saved.

    Elsewhere, Boromir stalked out in the wilderness with a purpose. He had picked up the scent of someone he was looking for. Once Boromir’s prey was discovered, he attached a device to their cloak and swiftly left, curious if the device would activate. As Boromir left, he could have sworn he heard the screeches of The Ringwraiths in the far distance, but the screeches to be cutting in and out rhythmically. Boromir had no idea what The Ringwraiths were doing or where they were at, but the screeches didn’t scare him…instead they seemed interesting and inviting. Boromir quickly shook his head, as he didn’t have time for this and had to head back and hunker down for the night.

    As dawn came, everyone awoke and realized they had all been teleported back to the center of the arena, seemingly to force another discussion of who must be gotten rid of. All of them seemed intact however.

    Reading Apoc card, none can kill on N1.

    Baker can pass out bread to 3 different people

    Beserker can only kill on full moon nights (until 1st successful kill, then every night). N1 isnt full moon.

    Plaguebringer infects someone

    Soul Collecter predicts a death
     
    Just some thoughts on this as this is a new style of game again for me.

    If we have Baker we should:
    1. Someone should claim that they were given bread.
    2. Claim any other verifiable role.
    3. Vote someone today.

    These will help narrow the suspect pool down as much as possible.

    If I am missing something let me know.

    Bread receivers don't know they receive bread.
     
    Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure by the nature of my info, my target can't be the Plaguebearer and were in fact targeted by them.

    Unless I'm missing something about how the PB works, that also means my target can still be any alignment unfortunately, but at least we know we have a PB and it's not them
     
    I have to ask.

    Mitch, were you being serious when you switched your vote to Psycho towards the end of the day phase and called him 'scummy' or was that just a joke?

    Pb visuts or doesn't visit. Anyone they visit gets plagued. Anyone that visits them gets plagued. Plagued people spread the plague to players they've visited. When everyone is plagued, pb becomes pestilence.

    So pb cant be psycho also follow up ?? If there are 4 apocs or more then one is there a solid change they pb them first night?

    Pb doesn't need to plague their team. When every non apoc us plagued. I guess I should have specified that. That would be like Baker giving his team all the bread so when the hungry people die, his team would remain.

    And while Psycho could theoretically be pb, there is zero reason for him to out info on who was plagued n1 on day 2.
