Every year I promise I am going to start Christmas shopping earlier but I never do. And then it all of a sudden is in 5 days and its time to panic.

Fixed. The dual screen usually updates faster.

Not the part about in order of votes. I do it how I prefer in games. Although the foxxi/mazer mixed formatting in the sexy game was fun.

Honestly, not sure yet. Still wrapping my head around there's one thing I've done with functionality that you haven't done before. There are heady, yet confusing times for me.

It's game style related. I personally find it easier to remember/do the chronology when I'm doing past vote analysis. That's also why I like running vote counts in thread vs. editing in discord. Not perfect, but closer for how I like to analyze.

I think Diva, Tildey and Llettuce get BoD from me on D1, since they havent played much lately.

What are the off vibes on the Matt wagon? Who do you not like? 3pups, VK or me?

I was working from the bottom of the list upwards when looking at who had not posted yet and Diva is right at the bottom of the list.

There's little need for me to ping someone who hasn't posted at all yet as they would already have the start of game notification and their role private message as a fresh notification.

I've technically done all of mine already, I just need to pick up the cake from the French bakery I order from as well as some stuff I ordered from a supermarket that doesn't do home deliveries but allows for orders to be placed and picked up directly from the store instead.

Probably for the best, since I ordered some chocolate liqueur that was delivered to the wrong address and the photo the delivery guy sent was practically unidentifiable and whoever received it must have opened it despite not having their name or address on the parcel as nobody has stopped by to correct the mistake.

I got a refund for it, at least...

Be careful on the accusations, especially when you clearly don't understand my motivation for counting my own posts.. I don't have much time on the weekends, and I wanted to be sure to make the 5 post minimum, in case I couldn't make it back before day end.

I detest min post requirements, as I tend to post longer, rambling posts, but usually folks can understand where I am coming from. Keeping posts very brief, just to hit a min post requirement, is downright uninspired.

I was kind of hoping there'd be something at least amusing when I checked in.

Not going to comment about my wagon because I’m 90% confident they are voting me for the bit. Why is everyone voting Matt?

Part of it is because Matthieu has felt alright and not worth the vote so far. The other part is it just feeling like a wrong wagon to see as one of the leads when Mazer made the count. And VK has posted like someone trying to push post count and look active in lieu of really doing much with his posts, so he's not helping matters

The only time you have issues making more then a handful of posts is over the weekend and we know. M-F you dont have a problem making at least 5 a gameday, so you are making this a bigger issue then it really is.
 
I would like to contribute to the Lego conversation with I bought a bouquet of roses set and the bonsai set to do with my partner as a date they now sit on our living room table

My response was mostly to defend myself against the accusation of gimmick infringement. I don't need to copy anyone else's gimmick, I can do just fine boring everyone with my own couponing plans this weekend.

We should not give the day away without at least trying to get some information.

You avoided responding to my question aimed at your earlier in the day phase in regards to why you chose me for a vote out of the three players in the previous game's scum team. For clarity's sake, here is the question that I posed to you:

If you're looking for petty revenge because in a randomly generated setup I happened to flip scum and outplayed you in the previous game, say so.

Just don't pretend you're looking for 'information'. You're not.

Void at least admitted that his vote on me is due to the events of the previous game and BN is, if nothing else, consistent with his tradition of voting for me as his first vote of D1.

I'd like some thoughts from you - and Void - that are entirely limited to the events transpiring in the present setup, not the previous one.

Yes, it is obvious i have no info on you and my initial vote on you is partly revenge since you wanted to kill me first last game. But you have given no reason not to yeet you and someone has to go first

Perhaps if you paid more attention to recent games you'd see that I've been putting in more effort than usual in an attempt to raise engagement. There's little need for petulant attempts to 'bait' people such as myself or LDG into 'reacting'.

In fact, that's a rather dubious goal. It's perfectly possible for Day 1 to be more productive than it is and as I said after the game before last, I am deeply weary of players not showing up and getting a free pass whereas petty revenge is wielded in an attempt to get rid of active, vocal players.

There's a number of players who used to put a lot more effort into these games than they do at present but they decide not to bother after a certain point due to the aforementioned petty revenge and/or attempts to bait them into a meltdown.

I'd kindly ask you to stop doing it.

I'm glad you admitted the real reason. As for the latter, I've actually given you plenty of reasons not to yeet me by virtue of actually showing up and engaging, encouraging our no shows to do as much and pushing back against the attempts to squander Day 1.

He is a shitposter regardless, but the particular flavor and timing of shit posting this game feels a tad more performative than normal
 
Matthieu seems pretty genuine and feels the most like he's trying to dig into other players. Obviously, he just made a big post about how he's trying to do that. But the way it came as a result of his back and forth with 3pups and to Satsu's comment just feels less like scum with a legit gripe that they're milking and more like Matthieu is actually here to try and solve, no shenanigans, no ulterior motives.

Like I've been dumb for trusting him for good sounding posts plenty of times before, but the purity is just radiating for me.

Not sure that Satsu would be the scum who hops onto the wagon AFTER it's been examined as potentially bad/lazy, but it reinforces my want to pressure the people on that wagon

nothing i could yeet them but i prefer a house member 3pups is his usual weekends arent good and vk i wouldnt touch with a 10 and a half foot pole so they are both decent yeets

I liked this. I don't have time now but in addition to you, if you flip scum then I didnt like psycho defending you.
