Christmas Mafia 4 (Mafia 30): The House of MTR 2-God Loves, MTR kills

but I’m here and skimming so let’s get into it lol

So my first write up take away is lots of insaner actions, so hopefully some info came out of that.
The void action on Lletty could be watch/track right? And the action on claws would be to scramble results from actions. Looks like maybe they tried to off Morrison
^just guessing I’m not the best at reading write ups
But looks like a pattern of they were targeting a couple inactives

I still don't really trust Satsu's perspective here(which is why I won't be voting llettuce), but Satsu is at least participating, and if we're gonna try to trim the dead weight, this is probably our best phase to do it before more townies start dropping.

And if he's scum, then even better.
 
It's also a matter of I don't want people who are focusing on inactives to have a loophole out of discussing actually active participants, so better to box them in sooner rather than later

you keep flip flopping around on MTR which confuses me but I’m honestly struggling to follow all of your posts, that’s not an attack or anything just stuck out to me while trying to piece things together

Both valid perspectives.

My first thought was that voting me was a way to justify a vote on someone who isn't Satsu if Satsu is red.

This is the first game in a while where Val isn't town reading me ; (

Satsu's push on lettuce for being part of the House of MTR is, like, objectively stupid. But I'm not really seeing any signs of him being ironic that pushing such a take would require IMO. So I still think Satsu has a good likelihood of being mafia despite him being an active player.

I'd also be fine with killing Morri or Void. Or Val.

Matthieu/Listo/lettuce likely contains scum as well but I can't discern.

Foxxi feels townie.

I think he's clean. Admittedly based on a gut feel more than anything and it's hard to explain why, exactly, but the impression I get from him casually just dropping votes and not really explaining much is that he can be trusted.

Odd as it may sound, if he were over-explaining himself I think that'd be a bit more damning at this point in the game.

I can agree that a more chatty Val is usually more scummy, yeah.

With Christmas around the corner, Alberta Haynes, thought of all the famous ghosts of Christmas. Past, Present, Future, Casper, etc. She thought it was her time to make an impact. Sadly, she was absolutely wrong.

Morrison has been eliminated. He was Alberta Haynes-Town ON Tracker

Begin Night 3.
 
The efforts of Mab’s forces had begun to have an effect. With the cancellation of numerous Christmas movies, Boomers, Gen X, and Older Millenials were all getting very testy. Egg nog sales were down, which had a big hit on the dairy and poultry industries. How much longer could this last before violence escalated?

Mab knew she needed to make a quick a decisive action. She looked at her chessboard, and thought about which pawns didn’t belong on it.

Weakened Listo was still doing his best to fight evil. Nothing would cheer up a cat like claws as much as Christmas Sweater. At the very least, people on the discord chat would be happy, because of the inevitable cat pics.

Jackie Daytona was hanging out at the bar, when he noticed val looking all handsome. Realizing that Christmas cheer could be spread in many ways, he decided to buy him a drink.

100 Fun Morrison was trying to make sure that he was truly the person he was trying to be. He was going to make sure that everything was peachy with LDG.

And because 100FMorri was truly the industrious sort, he wanted to make sure that everything was good with Val as well

Clause had visited all the networks to see if there was any language in their contracts he could use to sue the forces of evil. He did find some interesting language, and went to see insaner to see if he saw it the same way.

Not Suspicious Future looked around while wearing a fake moustache. He was also in a trench coat, and had a shabby brief case. He made sure that nobody was following him. It was all completely normal behavior that didn’t raise any red flags.

Marcone kept on the move. His ongoing negotiations kept Writers Guild and caterers at each other’s throats, ensuring production was continuing to have issues.

Danhausen hid under the ring, and did his weird hand motions. For some reason, the AEW marks ate it up. But they were still bitter, and not very christmasy.



While his teammates pulled their various ploys, the Mtr, the Winter Knight took a more direct route.

He first sought out a traitor. Morrison had tried to turn from evil. But his fun was about to end.

Insaner has been eliminated. He was 100 Fun Morrison – Town Role Changer



But the Winter Knight was not finished. Jackie Daytona had grown too brazen, and MTR had tracked him down. He tried to escape with his superspeed, and by turning into a bat. But MTR was able to subdue him by pushing garlic down his throat.

As is often the case with normal, human bartenders.

Mitch has been eliminated. He was Jackie Daytona-Town Hider Variant




As more and more Christmas specials were cancelled, the forces of good needed to rally. Christmas was approaching. Could they find a way to reunite families, and spread Christmas Cheer?

I'm guessing psych has deets, it's too soon to be putting him in yeet range - but consider my vote there

How the hell did a hider get targeted? What kinda lame hider variant lets people still do stuff to them? And it wasn't just dying... columbo targeted him N2 too...maybe the variant part let him do other kinds of actions or hide? Or maybe he hid behind the wrong person and that killed him? Though that still doesn't explain how columbo was able to target him. And he had two targets it looks like, LDG and Val... not sure how someone hides behind two different people at once if that is what he was doing. Nothing about this makes any damn sense.
 
I still kinda think Val is just detached town on ISO... but I am struggling to see how else a hider ends up dead

Could be - but it'd still be the killer here wouldn't it? Since it sounds like mitch and insaner were both killed by MTR - If mitch died to hiding behind a different scum, wouldn't we see a different character kill him?

Insaner flipped 'role changer' so he might have changed Mitch's role at some point? Perhaps unintentionally, if Mitch hid behind someone who happened to be targeted?
 
For what it's worth, I targetted VK last night but my action did not go through. It's not mentioned in the writeup so I don't know if I was RB'd or if there's an off chance that VK is the hider?

I'm not against policy lynching VK but we just lost three town in the last two phases and have yet to find a single scum. We've got to be a bit more savvy.

'Hider variant' - sounds a little like a 'weak hider' who dies hiding behind scum...but that doesn't explain the Columbo interaction., or the two targets. ON/EN perhaps?

that's a thought, if val is a PGO or has some kinda pgo ability maybe he blasted mitch -- but val said someone gave him a message? Unless he also shot shot insaner and one of mitch/insaner were the one that gave him the message? But eh. I don't think val reacts that way if he'd involuntarily blasted visitors.
 
Sorry for missing the end of the last day phase. Stupid migraine. Trying to catch up. Been just taking it easy today.

How do you know nobody was poisoned? Who knows what red's action have been. they dont exactly spell out what actions they are doing



Is this all you plan on contributing to the game? Do you have any game related thoughts? Who is scum and why? Who is town and why?
 
Personally I dont trust VK, Claws or Foxxi right now.

Foxxi was in a slot that was gonna get lynched for inactivity...

Claws is giving me more scum the town vibes, which is normal... but theres something I cant shake or put my finger on right now.

VK is MIA again... something i Dont think he's really do as town. But it feels liek a lazy lynch on him right now

I think a town Foxxie would have guts and would vote people rather than standing around waiting for someone else to put their foot forward and take heat. Scum behavior.
